MARIA ROSE HARTMANN
Born: Jul 13, 1931
Date of Passing: Apr 03, 2005
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA ROSE HARTMANN Peacefully, with her family by her side, our beloved mother, mother-in-law and Oma passed away at her home (St. Joseph's Residence) on April 3, 2005. Her memory will be forever cherished by her son Alfred Hartmann (Louise); daughters, Gabriela Irving (Ray), Karin Mazowita (Glen); and grandchildren, Rebecca, Haley, Amy and Adam; numerous nieces and nephews in Switzerland and Austria; and especially special niece Anna (Carl) Brown of Maryland. Maria was recently predeceased by her devoted husband Alfred Sr. who left only a few short months ago to prepare a place for them to share through all eternity. Maria was born Maria Rosine Branka on July 13, 1931, in Thannis, France, but lived most of her young life in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. It was there she met and married the love of her life, Fred. They came to Canada with their most precious possession, Alfred Jr., in 1954 and soon welcomed Gaby and Karin to their loving family. Maria devoted her life to her family. Nothing gave her more pleasure or pride than her children and grandchildren. She welcomed all who came to her door and always ensured that no one ever left her home hungry. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Residence who over the past five years became her second family. We will be forever indebted to you for providing mom with the best care, loving kindness and dignity that only a family could provide. We would especially like to thank special angel Ruby Debiuk who befriended mom and ensured mealtime was a little more pleasant. A celebration of Maria's life will be held at Atlantic Garden City United Church, 725 Atlantic Ave., on Thursday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Please make a donation to the cause of your choice. Finally at peace, and together again with Opa. We will miss you always as you continue to watch over us. Give Opa a hug and kiss for us. Love always, Your Kiddies. Auf Wiedersehen Oma KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973
