LILLIAN PENNIE nee STRAIN (TURNER) Lillian Irene Pennie, eldest daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Strain, passed away peacefully at the Selkirk General Hospital on Thursday April 7, 2005 at the age of 89 years. A funeral service will be held at the Carberry United Church, Carberry, MB, at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, April 11 with the Rev. Peggy Ried officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to The Children's Hospital Foundation, 840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1. Flowers gratefully declined. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses on the Surgical Unit of the Selkirk General Hospital for their kindness and concern shown to our family, and especially to our Mother and Nana.
