BEATRICE MAY COURTOIS Peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2005, Beatrice Courtois (Bea), aged 93 years, passed away at Tudor House Personal Care Home in Selkirk. She was predeceased by her husband Ed in 1995. Bea will be loved and sadly missed by her nephew Alex Favell and her many friends. Bea was born and grew up at Winnipeg Beach. She often talked of cherished memories of the boardwalk and going to dances at the dancehall by the lake. Bea eventually moved to Winnipeg and worked hard for many years before retiring from Perth's cleaners. Bea and Ed later moved to Petersfield to enjoy their retirement. Bea and Ed both enjoyed boating and fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Countless good times were had with family and friends on early morning fishing trips whether any fish were caught or not. One of Bea's greatest pleasures was getting together with family and friends at Petersfield in the summertime to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The family wishes to thank the staff at Tudor House Personal Care Home for their kind and considerate care. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
