CHRISTOPHER FRANK MOSTERD February 21, 1983 - April 20, 2005 It is with great sorrow that the family informs you that Chris Mosterd passed away from a work-related accident on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg after a ten day struggle. Chris was the beloved son of Peter and Doreen Mosterd and an outstanding brother to PeterJohn (friend Lisa), Jarret, Daniel and Rebecca. Chris will also be sorely missed by his grandparents and extended family. Chris grew up on a dairy farm near Aberdeen and loved the freedom of his life. With his three brothers, he had many adventures and schemes and between them all, they got into enough mischief that life was never boring at the Mosterd farm. Chris alternately teased and spoiled his favourite sister, Rebecca. Underneath his quiet, tough exterior was a determined young man, a deep logical thinker and a loyal, caring friend. Chris was educated at home. He began working in the tower industry for several years, where he soon earned a reputation for his perseverance and strong work ethic. He loved and was loved and will be missed by us all. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses in SICU for their competent and compassionate care. In addition to the kind support from our community and congregation at home, the family also wants to express a sincere thank you to Pastor Richard Zekveld and the Winnipeg CRC community who have supported us spiritually and also in many loving, practical gestures when we were so far from home. Funeral service life will be held on Monday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Grove Community Church, 502 Webster St., Saskatoon, with Pastor Richard Bodini officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at church with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to World Vision Canada, Unit 34 62 Scurfield Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1M5 or Health Sciences Centre, SICU, MS7-820 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M3 would be very much appreciated.
