HILDA KELM On the early morning of Saturday, April 30, 2005 the Lord opened His arms and gently took my mother home to be with Him. Hilda was born June 22, 1915 in Camper, MB and when she was a child she moved with her parents to Matheson Avenue. Hilda was predeceased by her parents, brothers, William, Edward, Robert, Daniel; and sisters, Hannah and Olga. Mom, Grandma and Nanny will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughter, Joan (Peter) Pelletier; grandchildren, Jo-Anne, Jacqueline, Daniel (Kara); and six great-grandchildren, Amanda, Cory, Garett, Jordan, Angelique and Hunter; sister-in-law, Lyla Kelm of St. Catherines, ON; as well as nieces, nephews and their families. During The Second World War, mom joined other women in manufacturing ammunition at the Cordike Factory in Winnipeg. After the war, mom was employed at H R sewing factory. She later became a Home Care worker, which she loved because she met and took care of many lovely people. Mom is now at peace and rejoicing with her Lord. Pastor J. Lexier will be officiating. Service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Friday, May 6 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow. I would like to thank Donwood Manor (1st Floor) for the loving care they gave my mom for the past five years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. God Bless. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111 Family and friends are invited to sign The Book of Condolences at: www.gleneden-mb.ca
