JACQUELENE (JACKIE) GOODMAN It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the death of Jackie on April 22, 2005 in Victoria, BC from a brain tumour. She was born August 15, 1943 and is survived by husband Bill; son Scott, his wife Tara and daughter Kaitlyn; daughter Susan and partner Larry Neufeld and brothers, Norm and Bob. Jackie died peacefully with Bill by her side. She had a rich, rewarding life, always placing family and friends foremost. She enjoyed helping people during her years of employment in the Personnel Department of Unisys, and volunteering through the Winnipeg Humane Society. She will also be fondly remembered for her love of animals, especially all her canine pets over the years. Her principal place of happiness and tranquility was the cottage at Catastrophe Lake, where she took great pleasure in her forest walks, gardening, fishing, blueberry picking and swimming. She also enjoyed the multitude of trips and vacations throughout North America and around the world taken over the years with family and friends. She treasured the close friends and acquaintances she developed during her life, considering them her second family . One of her parting comments was that she had No regrets - a kind, compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and soul-mate who will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, any donations in Jackie's memory to a charity of your own choice would be appreciated. A celebration of Jackie's life will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Travelodge Winnipeg East, 20 Alpine Ave., Winnipeg.
