The family would like to thank the staff at Unit 5, 4th floor of the Seven Oaks Hospital for keeping her comfortable and a special thank you to Dr. D. Reimer for the compassionate and professional care shown to Mom. Additionally, the family would like to thank Dr. I. Maxwell and the dedicated staff of the Victoria Hospital, Oncology Department for their care and kindness. We were next door neighbors of Kay and Ed for 15 years. Our daughter Susan was great friends with Courtney, they played "cars" together. Kay was a delightful neighbor, always a smile on her face, and it was a pleasure to hear her hearty laugh. Personality plus is how I would describe her. We played bridge and one night Ed might remember us girls, a little too much wine, serenading under Ed's bedroom window. I agree, with Leslie (Lynden) , "the world has lost a very beautiful person." Our very sincere condolences to Ed, Vince, Courtney . Irene, Phil, Susan and Nancy. - Posted by: The MacCready Family (Friend) on: May 10, 2005
