MARGARET PEARL MORRISON On Saturday, May 14, 2005, Pearl passed away at Beacon Hill Lodge Care Home at the age of 85 years. Pearl was survived by her loving son Brian W. Morrison of Winnipeg. Predeceased by William Morrison, her husband of 41 years in March, 1988. Her sister Jean Burdett and brothers Ernie and Percy Burdett. Mom was born March 27, 1920 in Winnipeg. The youngest daughter of William and Margaret Burdett and along with her siblings grew up on Bannatyne Street and spent her summer vacations at Winnipeg Beach. Mom and dad were married on June 7, 1947 and they resided in Norwood. In 1989, she moved to Lions Manor for ten years and resided at Beacon Hill Lodge for the past six years. In compliance with mom's wishes, cremation has taken place, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Brian wishes to extend sincere thanks to the nursing staff and care workers on the 6th floor at Beacon Hill Lodge for the wonderful care and love they always gave to mom.
