Caroline was born on February 28, 1915 in Winnipeg and was blessed to have celebrated her 90th birthday this past winter. Caroline will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Edward (Dorothy), Gregory, Joseph (Gayle); four grandchildren, Dawn, Jay (Lisa), Justin and Nicole; six great-grandchildren, Christian, Zachary, Danielle, Colton, Ruark and Chloe. She will also be deeply missed by her brother Frank (Florence) and her sisters, Genevieve and Angela (Paul) and by her many nephews, nieces and dear friends. Caroline was predeceased by her husband John in 1973 and brother William in 1995. Mother spent her working years in the food and hospitality industry. She will always be remembered for her generous and loving nature. She opened her home to every friend and family member and took great pleasure in preparing meals for them. She also enjoyed working in her garden, sewing, crocheting and quilting, making sure that all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren had a quilt made especially for them. She was a woman of strong faith and a faithful parishioner of St. Ann's Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the many people who provided care to mother over the last few months. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main St., West St Paul. Mrs. Bohonos was a huge part of the force that shaped my life. She taught me my work ethics and her friendship and loyalty and her spirituality were a lesson to all on how life should be lived. Even though Ilive far away I think of her often and will miss her yearly Christmas letters. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Patty Steele (Friend) on: May 22, 2005
