Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD WILLIAM BODNARUK It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Donald William Bodnaruk on May 26, 2005 at Concordia Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Grace; his children, Gale (Dave), Lorraine, Donald; his brothers and sisters, Jan, Ray (Ingrid), Bob (Audrey), Brian (Yvette), Elaine (John), Larry (Marion), and Glenn (Sandy); and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Rose and William. Donald was born on September 20, 1940 and grew up in Highland Glenn on the family farm. He graduated from Municipal Technology at Red River Community College and started working in 1966 with the Department of Highways as a Civil Engineering Technologist, retiring in 2001. Not only was he a loving husband, he was a very passionate, generous, loyal, hard working man who always put his family's needs first and taught his children the importance of these virtues. He was known for his sense of humour, and enjoyed making the people around him laugh and feel comfortable. He will be missed by the many family and friends that he has touched through out his life. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m., in Holy Redeemer Church, 264 Donwood Dr. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Henderson Highway Branch No. 215, 3600 Devries Ave., East St. Paul. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. C. Burnell, the Chaplin's, and the Concordia Hospital staff. We were shocked and saddened to hear of Don's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Grace and Family during your time of sorrow. The world was a better place with Don in it, but know that Heaven is now Blessed having called Don home.
