JEAN BRADSHAW Peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2005, Jean passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her sister Ellen; brothers, Jim and Jack. Her memory will be forever cherished by her family, daughter Jean (Ernie Dufault); sons, Glenn (Diane), Scott (Sharon); four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; niece Margaret (Dennis Allen); nephew Doug Scott; as well as numerous family and friends. Mom was born in Glasgow, Scotland, August 26, 1912 and came to Canada at an early age. She was a champion Highland Dancer and was very proud of her Scottish Heritage. She was a homemaker for many years. Later on she was employed by the Provincial Government until her retirement. Mom was known for her sense of humour and her generosity towards numerous charities. Jean enjoyed spending summers at Grand Beach and after her retirement she enjoyed travelling. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at CD2 at Riverview Health Centre, especially Sheldon, and others who took a special interest in Mom in her final years. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation CE, CE501-840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1.
