SHERRY LEE STILLER SEARLES 1969 - 2005 It is with sadness we announce the passing of Sherry on June 2, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Remaining to cherish her memory are her devoted husband James; her parents, Phyllis and Steve Stiller; brother Steven (Heather) of Vancouver; James, daughters, Jenny (Christian) and Sabrina (Chris); brothers-in-law, Tom (Darlene), Hobie (Brenda), Eddie (Angie); sisters-in-law, Susan (Ric) and Terry; also numerous relatives and friends. Sherry also leaves behind to embrace her spirit, her precious Skye, Autumn and Braden who meant so much to her. Sherry will be missed by her close friends, Sandy (aunt) and James, Leah, Rhonda and Marion. Sherry was born June 16, 1969 in Winnipeg. She graduated from St. James Collegiate in 1987. Sherry approached everything wholeheartedly. Her passions in life were people, poetry, writing, the outdoors, films and music. Sherry was a quiet spirit with the readiness to meet the needs of family and friends and to express compassion without question. The small simple things in life gave Sherry the greatest joy. There are two kinds of people, those who loved Sherry and those who never met her. Thanks to Nathan Detroits for caring for your employee. Thanks to the excellent doctors and nurses of the Health Sciences Centre and the St. Boniface Hospital. A special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Donations may be made in Sherry's memory to CancerCare and Palliative care St. Boniface Hospital.
