LEONARD ETKIN 1922 - 2005 Peacefully on Friday, June 10 at Seven Oaks Hospital, after a brief illness. Leonard was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn; brothers, Norm, Jack and sister Ruth. He will be dearly missed by his children, Marshall (Rose) of Winnipeg, Mary (Bob) of Toronto, and his grandchildren, Matthew (Candice), Jessica, Melissa and Mitchell, in addition to sisters-in-law, Ann, Simma and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Dad's family was the most important thing in his life, and his generosity and encouragement was always, and will be forever, greatly appreciated. Sincere thanks to Dr. Boyd and staff of U4, Seven Oaks Hospital for their caring and compassion. Graveside service to be held at Hebrew Sick Cemetery, 2605 McPhillips on Wednesday, June 15 at 10:30 a.m. May the winds of love blow softly, And whisper so you can hear, We'll forever love and miss you, And wish that you were here. We'll try to find some comfort, In dealing with the pain, Of knowing in the future, We'll be with you again. For all that life has given us, And all that's left to do, We'll know no greater treasure, That the days we had with you.
