Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) HAYES 1925-2005 Bill Hayes, Winnipeg, MB passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on June 16, 2005. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his children and grandchildren; Susan (Allan) Carson, Janice (Ian) Hayes, John (Cara-Lee) Hayes, Peter (Christine) Hayes. Ten grandchildren, Jamie and Bob Carson,Travis, Evan, Lucas, Mikaela Hayes, Morgan Heckford, Victoria and twins Brian and Jack Hayes. He is survived by Pegi Morgan-Hayes and his sisters, Eleanor (Harry) Berting, and Ruth (Fred) Markowsky. Bill was born in 1925 in Rosthern, SK the eldest son of Fred and Theresa Hayes. He completed high school in Rosthern and at 17 years applied to the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He had a successful business career working for Burns, CCM and Levy Industries. His career took him around the world as a refrigeration consultant particularly in Africa, which he loved. Bill was an avid sportsman and athlete. He excelled at all sports hockey, skiing, curling, golfing, tennis, and was an exceptional swimmer. He was a volunteer coach and served on the CNIB and Cancer Boards. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at CROPO Funeral Chapel 1442 Main Street, Wednesday, June 22 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. R. Baudry will officiate. The family wishes to thank the thoughtful, caring nursing staff and doctors at River East Personal Care Home. Donations may be made to the Manitoba Alzheimer's Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
