GUDRUN (RONI) CHAPMAN It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Gudrun (Roni) Chapman on Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at 6:10 p.m. at the Riverview Health Care Facility. Mom, Grandma and Sister: she will be missed by her daughter Debbie Somack (Chapman); son-in-law Glen Somack; granddaughter Jaime Burbank (Somack); son-in-law Sean Burbank; grandson Michael Somack; her son Ken Chapman; daughter-in-law Sandy Chapman; grandson Andrew Chapman; her sisters, Norma and Geraldine; and brother Harold. She was predeceased by her husband Jim Chapman; parents Gudjon and Julianna Bjornson; brothers, Barney, Valdy; and sister Alice. A special thanks to the Riverview Personal Care Home who helped Roni in so many ways in the last few years of her life, and the Riverview Health Care Facility who cared for Roni in the last few days of her life. A memorial service will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27. In lieu of flowers, should friends and family so desire, the family asks that donations, in Roni's name, be made to the Riverview Health Care Facility CD3.
