KATHERINE REICO Peacefully on June 24, 2005 at the Victoria Hospital, Kay passed away at the proud age of 89. She will be lovingly missed by her daughter Jacqueline; her daughter-in-law June; her grandchildren, Bonnie (Paul), Bobbi (Rohan), Glenn (Colleen) and Sean (Lisa); and her ni-ne great-grandchildren, Sydney, Olivia, Jack, Kelsey, Breanna, Madison, Ben, Destyn and Devon. She has been welcomed into the arms of her husband Max and her son Norman. Kay was devoted to her family and loved nothing more than spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A strong and independent woman, Kay lived until her death in her home of 49 years, proud of her ability to care for herself. We have all been blessed by her never-ending warmth, generosity and kindness and ever-open heart. She loved each of us so very much and leaves us all with many memories to cherish and values to embrace. Kay's family wish to thank the staff at Victoria Hospital for their compassion and care during Kay's final days. A celebration of Kay's life will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. Safely Home I am home in heaven dear ones, Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty, In the everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last. There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand, Do it now, while life remaineth - You shall rest in God's own land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting Oh, the joy to see you come!
