Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANDRE (ANDY) BOISJOLI It is with deep sadness we announce that Andre Andy Boisjoli, aged 92, passed away peacefully at St. Boniface General Hospital on July 17, 2005, surrounded by members of his family. Andre was a self-learned man who loved to entertain everyone with stories of his life experiences. He especially enjoyed talking about his life as a lumberjack in his early years. Later, he had many productive years as a machinist in Winnipeg. Some of his favourite pastimes were to educate himself on history and to stay informed on current affairs. Andre was very devoted to his family and was truly fond of his grandchildren. Andre is survived by his wife Marie-Therese (Glemas); his children, Louis and wife Lena of Brandon, MB, Anne-Marie Meunier of Victoria, BC, Jean of Gatineau, QC and Claire Dusome and husband Dave of Dunsford, ON. He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren, Colin, Matthew, Renaude, Camille and Steven. His brother Edmond; and his sisters, Florence Pichette and Rita Syposh and husband Frank, will miss their regular visits with their beloved brother. He was predeceased by his father Pierre Zephyr Boisjoli; his mother Celine (nee Boily); brothers, Joe, Jules, Laurent, Albert; his sisters, Marie-Jeanne, Agnes, and Cecile; as well as his son-in-law Mike Meunier. Despite many physical setbacks in his later years, Andre amazed everyone by his positive outlook on life! Prayers will take place at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. on Wednesday, July 20 at 7:00 p.m. with viewing at 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 21 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior to mass at the St. Boniface Cathedral.
