CINDY MCGREGOR (RUTHIG) MACGARVA February 19, 1969 - August 1, 2005 Unexpectedly on Monday, August 1, 2005, Cindy Lee McGregor (Ruthig) passed away at the age of 36. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Andrew and Jean Watt; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Irene Ruthig. Cindy will be dearly missed by her precious son Trenton; the love of her life Ken MacGarva; her beloved dog Whipper; loving parents Dennis and Audrey; sister Kelly (Dave); brothers, David (Jen) and Michael (Joelle); nephews, Colton and Riley; the father of her son (Greg McGregor); Aunty Elly (and family) and numerous friends. Cindy grew up in North Kildonan and graduated from River East Collegiate in 1987. Growing up, she enjoyed playing baseball for Gateway and spending all of her summers at Ingolf, ON, where she loved to water ski and be with all of her lake buddies. Cindy was presently employed by Agricore United as logistics coordinator. She spent the last few years of her life living her dream in Balmoral, which she referred to as her Mayberry. She loved adding her own special touches to her new home, gardening in her yard, and watching her son grow up with all of the adventures that country life has to offer. Everyone who knew Cindy will miss her gentle, free-spirited nature and we are all truly blessed for having had her in our lives. The family would like to thank and express their appreciation to all the emergency responders for their help at the accident scene. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a trust fund for Trenton. Donations can be made by cheque made out to Investors' Group, in care of Trenton McGregor, 100-1345 Waverley St., Winnipeg, MB, R3T 5Y6. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main St. in Stonewall. Rev. Mary Best will officiate. The service will conclude at the chapel. We love you, Butterfly. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
