VERA DMYTRYSHYN On August 13, 2005, Vera passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Born January, 1, 1927, in Kylemore, SK, Vera was 78 years of age and was predeceased by her husband William; parents, Tatiana Podmorff and William Konkin; and brother John Konkin. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Eleanor (Bud), Marge (Newman), Baillie (Kathy), Bill and Ruth (John); as well as her seven grandchildren and spouses and five great-grandchildren. The most important thing in Mom's life was her family. She gave of herself freely and unselfishly, provided a good loving home for one long-lived dog and a succession of cats, and her unique personality and charisma will leave a void in our lives. A graveside service and interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St., on Wednesday, August 17 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vera's memory may be made to the St. Amant Foundation, St. Amant Centre, 440 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 3Z9, (204) 256-4301 extention 250.
