MARIA GARCIA It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother at Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 88 years on August 18, 2005. Maria is survived by her three children, Maria Cabral (Agnostinho), Manuel (Maria) and Jose (Diolinda) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Prayers will be said on Friday, August 19 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 20 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 18 Austin St. N. with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros, V.F. presiding. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
