LEO BOISJOLI 1920 - 2005 Soudainement le 23 aout 2005 a l'hopital general de Saint-Boniface, Leo est decede a l'age de 84 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son epouse Denise (Fournier); ses enfants, Gisele (Bill Cowling), Raymonde (Wes Chapman), Lorraine (Bob Hayden), Anita (Marcel Degagne), Alain (Denise), Gertrude (Rob Elliott), Norbert (Sheilagh); ses petits-enfants, Adam, Renee, Ian, Ryan, Monique, Sean, Sylvie, Melana, Cynthia, Jacqueline, Meghan, Serge et Nsimire; quatre arrieres-petits-enfants, Bailey, Noah, Isabel, Jillian. Il laisse aussi deux freres, trois soeurs, un beau-frere, deux belles-soeurs, ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nieces et un grand nombre d'amis. Il fut precede par ses parents, Alphonse et Alice Boisjoli; trois petits-enfants, Christian, Serge et Margot; deux freres et une soeur. Natif de La Broquerie (Manitoba) Leo epousa Denise en 1945 et ensemble ils y fonderent leur famille. En 1962, ils demenagerent de facon definitive a Saint-Boniface ou il travailla pendant 28 ans a l'Hopital general de Saint-Boniface. Il fut actif dans sa communaute principalement comme huissier a la Cathedrale pour 38 ans et comme membre des Chevaliers de Colomb de Saint-Boniface. Il etait le plus heureux quand il etait entoure de sa belle et grande famille. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m.. with viewing at 1:30 p.m. in the the St. Boniface Cathedral. The family wishes to thank the numerous persons who helped care for Leo in the latter years of his life, primarily the staff at Centre Tache, Pascal, Alex, Jim and the many others from home care. If family and friends so desire donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
