ROBERT PATTISON Following a lengthy illness, Robert Pattison passed away peacefully on August 23, 2005 in Langley, BC. Bob was born in Regina, SK on February 9, 1927 and attended school in Regina, Winnipeg and Dunblane Scotland. In 1944 he enlisted in the British Army and served with the Black Watch until the end of the War and then with the Military Police in Germany until his discharge in 1948. Bob returned to Canada that same year. In 1953 he met Geraldine Sanden and they were married in Edmonton, AB in September, 1954. Bob spent 43 years in the hardware industry and was employed by J.H. Ashdown, Ackland Supply and Allmar Distributors until his retirement in 1992. Bob is survived by Deanie, his loving wife for 50 years; daughter Carol, son-in-law Lorne, and granddaughters, Alexandra and Micaela Anderson of Langley; daughter Sheila and son-in-law Douglas McNab of Calgary, AB. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment service will be held in Bawlf, AB at a later date. If friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
