EVELYN MERLE RUFF Evelyn peacefully passed away on August 25, 2005 at Riverview Hospital, formerly of Kildonan Manor. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Arnold; parents, Robert and Lillian and sister Dorothy. She was born in Detroit, MI on September 18, 1930 and was educated and married in Winnipeg. Mom enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, her love of her family, her memories at Moth Lake, crib games with friends and bowling. She cherished her friends Bonnie and Grace and those at Kildonan Manor. Mom possessed a great strength of independence and endurance through her life and illness. Evelyn is survived by a daughter Sharon (Rick Boyd); son David Ruff (Brenda); grandchildren, Chris, Shannon, Shaundra; and brother Jim (Cindy) of British Columbia. With respect of Mom's wishes a private family service and interment was held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family wishes to extend their appreciation for the care provided to Evelyn by all the health care staff.
