MINAS LIONTAS We, the family, announce the sudden passing of Minas Liontas, on August 30, 2005. Left to mourn him is his loving wife Stavroula, son Theo, brother Emmanual, and many friends. He will be sadly missed by the entire family. Minas was born is Kozani, Greece. He first came to Canada in the 60s to work as a carpenter. While on summer vacation to Greece, he met the love of his life, Savroula. They were married in 1977. The following year, they had a beautiful boy, Theo. In the 80s and 90s he continued as a successful businessman in the window manufacturing industry. He retired in 2000, and spent most of his time with his family. Prayers will be held Thursday, September 1, 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Ascension Greek Orthodox Church, 197 Euclid. Funeral service will also be held at the church September 2, 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Brookside Cemetery. Officiating Fr. Demitrious Sarlakis.
